TEAM 7 World embodies the high standards of the TEAM 7 brand in terms of the environment, innovation and aesthetics while uniting architecture and nature in an exceptional way. To mark its opening, we collaborated with internationally renowned designer Lucie Koldova to create a piece of furniture that reflects all of this: renewable materials and maximum comfort combined in an expressive design.

elliot is TEAM 7’s charmingly refreshing interpretation of a lounge chair. It owes its invitingly comfortable appeal to the striking volume of its lavish upholstery. The smooth curves of solid wood enhance its natural charm. elliot has a minimalist look, yet is sophisticated in its details and impressive with its elegant overall shape. Due to its compact dimensions, it is highly versatile and flexible, making it suitable for almost any living area. Its modern yet classically timeless style make it easy to combine with other furniture.
And the seating comfort? Relaxed, of course!
An exclusive Italian wool bouclé is behind the special look and feel of elliot. The fabric surface features a unique texture that makes for extremely luxurious sitting.
The multi-layer upholstery not only lends elliot its characteristic appearance, it also further enhances the seating comfort. With a perfect balance between firmness and elasticity, the layers made of renewable materials ensure long-lasting comfort – even in diverse seating positions. Thanks to its clever design, you can take a seat on elliot in many different ways: straight, sideways, upright, relaxed or even casually reversed.
Sustainable in every detail.
Maximum sustainability was the goal when designing elliot. All solid wood parts as well as the moulded wood element of the backrest are assembled without formaldehyde – as is typical of TEAM 7. Only pure natural oil is used for finishing the wood surfaces. The components are manufactured regionally in Upper Austria. The materials for the seat and backrest were selected according to the strictest environment criteria. The layered upholstery consists of 100% renewable raw materials – coconut latex and natural latex – encased in a cotton fleece. The cover is made of bouclé fabric that is certified according to Ökotex Standard 100.

walnutMore informationNoble, dark and elegant: walnut.
Austria, Slovenia and Hungary are home to our walnut trees. The noble living grained wood has hues that range from light brown to black brown and sometimes show a red or purple sheen. Regular sunlight lightens the wood’s colour. Walnut is hard and maintains its shape – it is almost impossible to wear out the extremely resilient wood.

We deliberately select wild walnut with natural characteristics. The wood is allowed to continue living with all its knotholes and original lively pattern in your home. This way the knots and cracks adapt naturally to the indoor climate and change over time. Regular sunlight lightens the colour. The character of the wood is distinctly more rustic than with traditional walnut. Wild walnut is hard, maintains its shape and is extremely resilient to wear and tear – this is why we use it for our fronts, table tops and beds.

Whether it comes from sustainable forests in Austria, Hungary or Romania: the deciduous wood from our cherry trees is perfect for producing premium solid wood furniture. It is highly resilient, close-grained and always reveals different facets of its beauty. This is because ist colour spectrum ranges from a yellowish or reddish brown through to an intense dark red brown. The colour darkens slightly when exposed to sunlight.

Our oak grows just a stone’s throw away in sustainably managed forests in Austria, Germany and Hungary. A greyish-yellow to yellowish-brown heartwood is characteristic of this firm and particularly resilient wood. It grows in clearly visible even tree rings and darkens slightly in sunlight. Oak owes its unique appearance to its strikingly broad wood rays, which, depending on the direction of the wood, become visible as typical, large, iridescent mirrors or as dark strokes.

Our oak grows here in Austria, as well as in forests in Germany and Hungary. A greyish-yellow to yellowy-brown heartwood is characteristic of this firm and particularly resilient wood. It grows in clearly-visible, even tree rings. We have finished the premium wood of our oak white oil surface with a special oil that prevents the natural darkening of the oak and makes it brighter. Oak owes its unique appearance to its strikingly broad wood rays, which, depending on the direction of the wood, become visible as typical, large, iridescent mirrors or as dark strokes.

Our oak grows in Germany, Austria and Hungary. We use the special type of “wild oak” for our fronts, table tops and beds. Its firm wood beautifully reveals its natural character and charm with a distinctive grain pattern and visible knotholes. Oak owes its unique appearance to its strikingly broad wood rays, which, depending on the direction of the wood, become visible as typical, large, iridescent mirrors or as dark strokes.

We treat the firm, heavily patterned wild oak wood of this surface with a natural white oil that lightens it and prevents darkening. We use the finished wood that comes from Germany, Austria and Hungary for our fronts, table tops and beds. Our beech grows in the direct vicinity in sustainable forests in Austria and Germany. Its heartwood is hard and heavy and is characterised by a lively and distinctive wood look. Differences in colour, knots and small knotholes are typical. Natural coloured wood portions create a lively, distinctive grain pattern in the beech heartwood.

Local sources are important to us. Our beech wood comes from sustainable European forests in Austria and Germany. The colour of the wood is aesthetically nuanced and varies between bright yellow and reddish brown. The colour darkens slightly when regularly exposed to sunlight. Beech wood is heavy and firm and its structure makes it particularly easy to process.

Our alder wood comes from sustainably managed forests in Hungary and Poland. It is characterised by a warm, red and golden colour that darkens slightly in the sunlight. Alder is a fast-growing medium-hard species of wood that is finely grained and is perfect for processing. And the best thing about it: its light colour variants and medullary rays make each piece of furniture made from alder unique.

Because it grows in high alpine regions and is enormously adaptable, the Swiss pine is known as the "queen of the Alps". The distinctive features of Swiss pine are its lively grain, characterised by numerous dark knots, and its noticeable, aromatic scent.

Solid wood elements with gentle curves form the unconventional base, which features only two legs. The intricately three-dimensionally moulded backrest section is also made of real wood. The look and feel of the natural material make this piece of furniture a true tactile delight. The craftsmanship of TEAM 7 can also be seen in the artful wood joint between the backrest and the rear leg. Thanks to clever design, the two parts merge together in a form-fit joint, giving elliot a refined look even from the rear.
